Impact Website and Interactive Data Visualisation

Feed the Nation Foundation is a national non-profit organisation established by Pick n Pay in response to South Africa’s growing hunger crisis. Since its inception, the foundation has provided food relief to thousands of families across the country, partnering with communities, schools, and other NGOs to make real change where it is most needed. Their mission is focused, their reach is wide, and their work continues to restore dignity through nourishment.

We were tasked with building a digital platform that not only told this story, but also showed their national impact with clarity and care.

The Outcome

We designed and developed a custom website that highlights Feed the Nation’s purpose and tracks the real-world outcomes of their work. At the heart of the platform is an interactive map of South Africa, where users can explore the number of direct meals distributed per province, alongside the specific regions of focus within each.

The website blends data and storytelling through intuitive UX, thoughtful design, and real images of the people and communities being served. The final product is both functional and emotional, giving donors, volunteers, and visitors a deeper connection to the cause.
